HIKKADUWA EXCURSION (SRI LANKA)
DAY 01
After breakfast :- transfer to Kosgada/Bantota to visits the Turtle Hatchery rescue center. The journey will take less than 2 hours.
Turtle Hatchery centres are a turtle conservation
centre which breeds young ones of this endangered
species and then releases them in their natural
environment that is into the sea. When you visit
this place, you get the rare opportunity to witness
the breeding and hatching process of turtles as well
as their journey from the land into the sea. A visit to
the turtle hatchery in Kosgoda is most interesting
things to do in Colombo, Sri Lanka
Hikkaduwa is one of the most popular beach on the
west coast. Hikkaduwa is popular for its coral reefs
and the fascinating underwater world off the shore.
Glass bottom boating is a popular activity among
the visitors where visitors can see large coral reefs
with many fish species in the shallow water.
Overnight stay at Hikkaduwa. (Meals – Breakfast)
Note: The best time for visits to Hikkaduwa is
December to February, rainy season (May to
October) need to have Umbrella
DAY 02
After breakfast Visit to Coral visits by boat and after
that Tsunami photo Museum and Moon stone mine
Optional visit to snorkelling under sea
After lunch return to Colombo. (Meals – Breakfast)
