KANCHANBURI AND ERAWAN WATERFALLS EXCURSION (Thailand)

DAY 01 TO KANCHANABURI TOWN

Transfer by overnight bus for journey to Kanchanaburi - the most famous site for natural beauties and historical relics.
Kanchanburiis the ultimate go-to destination for an education of World War II history, as it was the base of Japanese soldiers during the War.
Made popular by the movie, The Bridge on the River Kwai, its tourist attractions include the Death Railway, Bridge over the River Kwae (Kwai), war cemeteries and museums. It is also the gateway to some of the most beautiful national parks of Thailand, like the Erawan National Park, Sai Yak National Park and Tree Top Adventure Park.
Note: Kachanaburi is extremely hot in summers (April-May) and best avoided.

DAY 02 ERAWAN & KANCHANABURI DAY TOUR

Arrive at Kanchanaburi. Check in to your hotel before starting your tour.
After breakfast – Your excursion begins. Kanchanaburi town forms the main centre of excursions, sight-seeing and activities.
The chief attraction is the Erawan National Parkand its the 7 tiered waterfall. This gives you the opportunity todo trekking, caveing and wading through cerulean pools in the midst of the dense rainforest.
Other day trips include a ride on the ‘Death Railway”, crossing the famous bridge over Kwai, visiting Hellfire Pass and the Memorial Museum.
Stay overnight at the hotel. (Meals – Breakfast).
Note: The entrance to the Erawana Falls is blocked at 4 pm.

DAY 03

After breakfast – Visit Kanchanaburi and take part in activities.
Possible activi- ties include: bamboo rafting along the River Kwae, train rides on heritage routes, limestone cave exploration with Buddha rock art, hot springs, waterfall, swimming, photography, visits to the Arts Gallery and War Museums, exploring the Sunken temple of Wat Saam Prasab and other Buddhist temples, elephant sanctuaries, tour of the Khmer temple ruins, walk over the Mon wooden bridge, heritage walk through the Pak Prak Street, and shopping at the gemstone village.
There are more adventure activities: the caves and waterfalls of the Sai Yak National Park, and the Zipline adventures of the Tree Top Adventure Park.
After dinner overnight to Chiang Mai by bus. (Meals – Breakfast).

DAY 04

Arrival in Chiang Mai, followed by free time and transfer to international airport.
