LAMPANG – CHIANG MAI EXCURSION (THAILAND)

DAY 01(SATURDAY)

After breakfast - Leaving Chiang Mai city to Lampang, one of the Northern Province in the Northern Thailand. Visit Lampang Elephant Conservation Center. About an hour driving on the curvy road, see the beautiful scenery of the mountains as well as the forest area along the way.
After reaching Hang Chud District. You can visit Elephant Conservation center which is established by the Forestry Industrial Department of Thailand as the unit to look after the elephants in Thailand and as well as the Elephant Hospital for sick elephants. After the arrival at the Elephant Conservation Center, see the elephant show with many different skills to see how claver they are. See how the elephant boys control and command their elephants. Elephant live music band and more skills.

DAY 02(SUNDAY)

Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep one of the North's most sacred temples. On this Chiang Mai tour you will climb a staircase of 306 steps leads to Doi Suthep Temple at the end of the winding road up the mountain. This is definitely the best way to approach the temple but there is also a funicular railway if you are less steady on your feet. As well as seeing this magnificent temple the trip would be worth it just for the stunning views across Chiang Mai alone. From the cool view point at the front of the temple you can see the whole of Chiang Mai and beyond. Following our temple visit we will continue further up the mountain to visit a White Hmong Village.
Overnight stay at accommodation, Chiang Mai. (Meals – Breakfast & Dinner)
