Mekong Delta Excursion
HO CHI MINH CITY – MECKONG DELTA (VIETNAM)

DAY 01

After breakfast – set off by air-conditioned vehicle for a two and half hour drive to the city of My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Stop to admire the ornate Vinh Trang Pagoda.
After visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda, you should have a boat rowing through water channels and jungle to the four beautiful islands which are Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. These four islets are important attractions along water channels of Mekong river Tien that run through my Tho. Lunch at a restaurant and continue to Can Tho.
In the afternoon - check in to your accommodation.
Rest of the day – You are at leisure to explore the beautiful city on your own.
Stay overnight at accommodation. Meckong hotel (Meals – Breakfast only)

DAY 02

Early morning after breakfast begin a boat trip to the delta’s biggest Floating Market – Cai Rang – at its busiest and most interesting time. Weave between the vendors boars at this wholesale market to see them trading fresh fruit and vegitables, and continue by boat through narrow waterways to a rice-noodle factory. Watch the workers producing thin noodles from rice, and then enjoy lunch a local restaurant before heading back to Ho Chi Minh city.
Your tour ends with drop off at your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City in the early evening.
